SPRARKLERS, ALL STARS AND LASERSThank you to all who supported the children in their Christian Aid collection. By covering coffee cups with loose change we have been able to give £14.27 to help Christian Aid to work with farmers in Nicaragua.
Back in January, after hearing the story of Elisha making the water pure, the children gave their Sunday school collection to the charity Samaritan’s Purse. With additional donations from members of the congregation a total of £50 was sent to provide clean water for people in Africa.
As we approach the summer we look forward to the Sunday school festival on 10th July; the focus for our worship this year is the story of The Good Samaritan, we will be asking the younger uniformed groups to join us in leading our service too. So please put this date in your diary. And last, but definitely not least, Paula - we miss Paula being with us in Sunday school but are so pleased to see her looking well after her recent illness.
